About Muss
Hello, we are Sofía and Silvina, the creators of muss and we want to tell you our story.
We are sisters and we grew up doing things with our hands. One summer we even dared to make sandals that we designed and pasted together ourselves.
So, when we realized how hard it was for us to find a handbag or purse exactly like we wanted–in a practical size, where each item would have its place, created in excellent quality leather–we decided to make it. That was the genesis of muss.
At first it was a pastime, but to the extent that the brand grew it started occupying most of our lives. And, the best part of everything, is that we love to work together. This dupla is made up of an industrial designer, Sofia, who brings the creative aspect to the table, imagining each one of the pieces; and by an engineer, Silvina, who is fascinated by processes and Excel spreadsheets. Together we complement each other and we work together in the synergy behind the brand.
Presently we have our own workshop where Sofi develops the prototypes and explores different techniques, leathers and threads. Then we work with different local workshops to create the products that make their way to your hands.
The handbags as well as the backpacks and wallets are accessories that go with you everywhere, items that combine functionality with design and transcend different attire. You form a special bond with them, associating them with different times in your life and memories from those times.
This is why our objective is to create accessories that are well-thought out and well-made, accessories that can accompany you over several decades.
