This year's reflection
As has been the case for everyone, march 2020 took us by surprise. Up to that point, muss had been experiencing a rate of continued growth that we are proud of. And yet, from one moment to the next everything changed. The world froze. It was hard to think clearly; the uncertainty left our heads foggy and we felt anguished.
We found ourselves needing to stop and think.
Being sisters, our bond is very intense and we knew that whatever happened, we could count on one another to get through and move forward. This shakeup gave us a minute to stop and look inside. We connected to what led us to launch muss and to reaffirmed that we are where we are because it is our passion.
We had a critical talk in which we went through everything that we had achieved up to that moment, we considered our strengths. If there was one thing that we had going for us it was that we have always looked to the digital world. So we left behind that negative spiral downward, got our cards together and shuffled the deck. We reconceptualized and rebuilt ourselves.
But it wasn’t a journey that we traveled alone. We found a loyal network, a chain of strength and support in providers, colleague brands, entrepreneurs and clients. Without them, without you, it would have been impossible.
On mother’s day–a day that is very special to muss–we felt the support of our clients, seeing the opportunity to celebrate and to give, they chose our purses, wallets and backpacks. This was an injection of vitality, a supportive hand on our shoulder that kept us from giving up.
Now that we are in january 2021, a new year, and when we look back it seems incredible everything that we achieved. We didn’t just survive, but rather we came out stronger. It was an intense effort, but we can now say that it was worth it. Thank you for coming along with us.
